Beyond Fire is an emerging fire company formed in 2015, well established with great pipeline of work and key accounts. Due to our continued growth we are seeking an experienced Fire Systems Designer to assist our delivery team.

As a Fire Systems Designer, you will work closely with successful team designing small, medium and larger projects.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience within the fire industry
• Good attitude, reliable and well presented
• Customer focus and keen to learn
• Team worker with good communication skills

 
DUTIES

• Comprehensive knowledge of Fire systems, Australian Standards and Building Codes
• Experience working with Revit & AutoCAD to produced workshop drawings and fabrication sheets
• Prepare and generate Hydraulic Calculations using Hyena software or similar
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate information effectively to all stakeholders
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality outcomes
• Co-ordinate works to ensure they are on schedule and within budget
• Competent customer service and communication skills.
• Undertake site inspections
• Equipment selection and Procurement
• Assist the sales/tendering process

 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years relevant experience in Australian Fire Protection Industry
• Computing Skills – Outlook, Word, Excel
• A good knowledge of Australian Fire Standards & BCA Codes
• Driver licence & OH & S General Induction Card (White Card)
