What is a CFSP?
CFSP stands for Competent Fire Safety Practitioner. They’re responsible for the endorsements and assessments required by NSW EP&A Act 2000 to claim a building’s fire systems are designed and Installed safe for use.

In particular, a CFSP is responsible for:
Persons recognised to be CFSP include:
a) a class of persons who have undergone particular training or assessment carried out by a specified professional organisation an industry organisation, such as Australia’s Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme, or
(b) a persons holding a specified category of certificate of accreditation under the Building Professionals Act 2005. |
